Christmas Eve at Shane & Shauna's.  Dad couldn't resist dressing Brooklyn in a Santa outfit.

Christmas morning unwrapping presents.  This gift is a beautiful music box from Grandma & Grandpa Anderson.

I always thought I would be the parent who would wait until their child is close to 6 months old before starting solid foods.  However, Brooklyn has been intently watching Kevin & I eat for the past several weeks, so we decided to try some oatmeal cereal with her.  She really liked the spoon, was unsure what to do with the cereal in her mouth, but I think she will catch on quickly to the eating thing.  It was a messy affair, but I think she may have actually eaten some of the cereal that I put in her mouth:).

Dogs & baby sleeping on a cold & chilly Saturday morning, waiting for Santa in the next couple of days.

Brooklyn is ready to get going for the day....

I decided to make some goodies for friends and Brooklyn wasn't very happy watching from the sidelines.  She helped me out and ended up getting some cranberry sauce on her cheek & clothes.  We had so much fun.

Our daycare provider, Dana had a Christmas party for the kids.  Santa came and handed out gifts.  Brooklyn wasn't all that interested yet, but she also wasn't scared of Santa, unlike some of the other kiddos.  We are looking forward to our first Christmas with her.  We feel so blessed to have her in our lives.  Merry Christmas to all our family & friends.  We love you.

Tahoe being a good big brother and letting Brooklyn lie on him.

We have been encouraging tummy time.  She especially loves it on dad when she can drool on him too!

Brooklyn & I watching the curling tournament.  Kevin & Ben organized it, with the Disco & 70's theme.  Don't you love the tie dye?
